New Media Manitoba (NMM), is a non-profit association of professionals that advocate and provide focused training, support and guidance to the new media business and development community. Comprised of over 650-members, NMM is a common ground for people seeking to make connections and collaborate on digital interactive projects. Training events have included internet application development, convergence media workshops, new media workflow, visual effects, new media business training, and video game design.  Activities are targeted toward new media professionals however all are welcome to participate.

NMM was originally founded in September of 2000 by Kevin Hnatiuk and Brock Gunter-Smith. It is our ongoing goal to ensure the Manitoba New Media industry has access to inexpensive, relevant, and competitive training that fills the skills gaps of our industry.

You can be notified of future training events as well new media job postings by signing up to our mailing list. We meet the 2nd-last Tuesday of every month at the Psych Health A/V centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Most training events are free unless otherwise stated.
