New Media Manitoba (NMM), is a non-profit association of industry professionals that provides support and economic opportunities to new media businesses and individuals. Comprised of over 925-members, NMM fosters an environment of innovation where people make connections and collaborate on digital interactive projects and educational pursuits. Training events include internet development, social media, convergence media, digital media workflow, mobile applications, visual effects, new media business training, search engine marketing, and video game development. Activities are targeted toward those working in or with the new media industry however all are welcome to participate.

In September of 2009 New Media Manitoba became an Apple Authorized Training Centre (AATC) providing world recognized certification programs in Apple Applications. A calendar of Apple training will soon be featured on the NMM website.

NMM was originally founded in September of 2000. It is our ongoing mandate to ensure the Manitoba New Media industry has access to inexpensive and relevant support that addresses industry skill gaps and improves economic development. To date NMM has helped foster over 3.2 million dollars in new jobs and projects for Manitoba digital media companies.

We often host a free new media training event the 2nd-last Tuesday of every month at or training facilities on 1000 Waverly Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. You can be notified of regular industry events and educational activities by signing up for our mailing list.
