On Tuesday, April 18, 2006, New Media Manitoba presents, "How Wrestling was won with Avid Express Pro" The presentation begins at 7:00 pm sharp in the 2nd floor A/V room at Psych Health.

Tuesday night's meeting will feature Scott Carnegie; a producer and editor currently residing in Winnipeg. In-8 years as a producer/editor/camera operator he has worked for APTN, A-Channel, CKX, the Manitoba Moose and various production companies.

Last year Scott's company, MediaCircus.TV, was commissioned to produce 6-episodes for the pro-wrestling program "AWE Overload" which aired on "The Fight Network", a specialty channel launched in October 2005. Scott will review how he used Avid Xpress Pro to build these episodes; covering basic editing, colour correction, audio mixing and multi-camera editing techniques. He will also cover the production process from client relations to budgets to hiring the right crew for this project and how to get the most bang for your buck on a small budget.
