Today's show looked at some essential summer technology. Some of the products we discussed were:

Canon Selphy 510Oregon Scientific Weather Forecaster: This weather forecaster will broadcast the indoor/outdoor weather and time on your wall or ceiling. It's internal Barometer will also give you an approximate 12-hour weather forecast. It can operate plugged in or via batteries for traveling.
Personal UV Monitor with Exposure Timer: This UV Monitor (also from Oregon Scientific) keeps an eye on the current UV index and temperature and calculates your recommended exposure time based on UV, SPF and your personal skin type.
Celestron VistaPix Digital Camera Binoculars: Binoculars with a digital camera built-in to take photos of the those faraway people and places.
Fuji FinePix F30: has the ability to shoot ISO 3200! This is an amazing low-light, high speed, feature for a consumer camera because it allows you to capture images in very low light.
Canon Selphy 510 Printer: This little dye-sub printer allows you to print 4x6 prints with a 100-year life-span in under a minute. The combo dye-sub cartridge and paper packs are easy to swap out and work out to approximately $0.40/print. Don't forget to purchase the optional battery pack if you want to take it on the road.
